			<description><![CDATA[ The ticks are awake in southern California.<br><br>It was a black tick and didn't realize. I thought I just had black mud on my leg. Gave it a tug and it was attached. A stronger tug and it was off.<br>Then I realized that it was a tick.<br><br>Do I really gotta go digging for mouth parts?<br>What could happen if I leave them there if they are actually there?<br>I shaved the area to get a better look. Could that have scrapped enough of the mouth parts off?<br> ]]></description>
