I have a old picture of a shake building with "Rowe Post Office" over the door and "Dad Miller's Grocery Store" on a sign at the end. The land is partially cleared with a lot of tall trees and hugh stumps. There are several folks in the picture. I was wondering if this store had anything to do with Ferdinand MILLER (MULLER) and Theressa STRAUSSER MILLER. They were original pioneers of Oregon City and resided at Sixth and Madison Streets until the last of the girls passed away in 1956. If anyone has any info or interest in this picture, please contact me at <lehay@shaw.ca> Thanks for reading this.

Rowe was a post office in Clackamas County, Oregon. It was in operation only from 1909 to 1917. It was in 1917 changed then to Zig Zag. But according to Lewis McArthur's "Oregon Geographic Names" the town name was changed to Rhododendron circa 1920. Both communities are current unincorporated areas, near one another, on the western slope of Mt. Hood, and both are part of the Villages at Mt. Hood Community.
