Area residents with family members who weathered Hurricane Wilma in Cancun can contact the U.S. Embassy in Mexico for information, according to the office of state Sen. John Pippy (R-37).
The U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Consulate in Merida are working with local officials, hotels and the tourist industry to assist American citizens affected by the hurricane.
